Our approach
An NHS blood test checks about ten markers against ranges designed to detect illness. You can be "in range"and still feel tired, foggy, or undertrained — because "not sick" is a low bar. The thresholds were never meant to tell you how to feel your best.
We test fifty-plus markers — hormones, thyroid, inflammation, vitamins, minerals, metabolic, liver — using the performance-optimised ranges that sports physicians and functional doctors actually use day-to-day. Results land in five days, reviewed by a GMC-registered doctor, presented in language you can read without a medical degree.
Then we tell you what to do about it. Not a generic "supplement stack" pulled from a quiz. Just the three or four things your blood says you actually need — and a follow-up test in three months to prove it worked.

The Protocol
01
Test
A finger-prick at home — three minutes. Drop the sample in the post in our prepaid envelope. Processed at UKAS-accredited UK laboratories the day it arrives.
02
Understand
Fifty-plus markers reviewed by a GMC-registered doctor, written up in plain English with performance ranges. You see what's optimal, what's borderline, and what needs attention — no medical degree required.
03
Optimise
A short list of supplements personalised to what your blood actually shows. Three or four things, not thirty. A follow-up test in three months to verify it worked.
What we test
Hormones, thyroid, vitamins, minerals, inflammation, liver, metabolism. The full picture, not the ten-marker NHS standard.
How we compare
Most services hand you a PDF and wish you luck. We tell you what's wrong, what to do about it, and prove it worked.

Voices
“Turns out my Vitamin D was half what it should be. No wonder I felt rubbish every winter. Two months of the right supplement and the difference is night and day.”
“I was spending £80 a month on supplements I didn't need. Helvy showed me I only actually needed three things. Saved money. Feel better.”
“My recovery was awful despite doing everything right. The blood test showed my ferritin was tanked. Fixed it in six weeks.”
“I told my GP I was tired all the time. They said I was fine. Helvy found my B12 was borderline and my thyroid was sluggish. Finally got answers.”
Examples based on typical outcomes.

Your GP typically tests about 10 markers and uses ranges designed to catch disease. We test 50+ markers using performance-optimised ranges from sports medicine research. We don't just tell you if you're sick — we tell you how to feel your best.
It's a simple finger-prick — three minutes at home. No needles, no clinic visits. Most people say it's easier than expected.
We only recommend supplements that directly address what your blood test shows is low or suboptimal. If your levels are fine, we'll tell you to save your money. It's that simple.
Great news — you'll know you're in good shape. We'll still show you where you could optimise further using performance ranges, but we'll never push supplements you don't need.
Every blood test is processed by a UKAS-accredited UK laboratory and reviewed by a GMC-registered doctor before you see your results.
